The very first seeds for medical marijuana plants have been sewn by Buckeye Relief in Eastlake. The seeds met the soil following necessary final approvals. Buckeye Relief is one of the state’s 12 large-scale growers.

Being a large-scale grow, they are permitted to plant between 8,000 and 12,000 seeds on July 31, according to Fox 8 News. The facility has brought jobs to the local community. It will also be a good source of revenue for Eastlake.

Security is tight at the facility as there are several security checkpoints and over 165 cameras monitoring the property.
