Medical Marijuana Dispensary Opening Soon in Cleveland

Marijuana Store

Greenleaf Apothecaries will be issued an operating license by September 6. The dispensary was rcently notified by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy that due to a change in ownership a license could not be issued as it was a violation of state rules.

A management agreement with Acreage Holdings is in place with the dispensary, which has been part of the issue, Cincinnati.com says. Judge Nancy Fuerst says that the ownership debacle is a separate issue and the Board of Pharmacy cannot withhold an operations license since the dispensary already passed necessary inspections in March.

Also, due to the Board of Pharmacy not revoking the licenses or blocking the opening of two other locations that the Cleveland location must be allowed to open.

COO of Greenleaf Apothecaries Katie Nelson said, “We were very happy to learn of the court’s ruling, and we thank the court for its thoughtful and fair consideration of the issues presented to it. We can’t wait to begin serving patients at our state-of-the-art dispensary, located at 3865 Lakeside Avenue in Cleveland.”
