Ohio Businesses Are Already Preparing for the Medical Marijuana Industry

Potential medical marijuana business owners are excited and have already begun registering business names with the state, even though the regulations for Ohio’s medical marijuana program are not expected to even be written for several months.

The medical marijuana program is slated to be in full-swing by September 2018, Cleveland.com reports. Regulations are required to provide cultivators with regulations prior to May 6, 2017. Additional rules must be set in place by the end of October 2017.

The number of business licenses that will be made available is not yet available as it has not been decided yet. Regardless, interested business owners are preparing themselves to enter the medical marijuana industry, whether it is intermingling with their current industry or branching off into an entirely new industry.
